St. Paul Catholic Church

Ladies Altar Society

In existence since 1960, the Ladies Altar Society provides for many needs of our parish with their charitable work, spiritual aid, and volunteer efforts. Many annual events would not be possible without volunteers from the Altar Society.

Among their projects, the Altar Society provides holiday food baskets for the needy, time and money to various pro-life organizations and other charities, meals for grieving families after the death of a parishioner, support for families in times of need, and numerous others. The Altar Society relies on various fundraisers throughout the year to fund their projects and charities. These fundraisers have included yard sales, bake sales, and raffles.

Officers are elected to two-year terms. The current officers are as follows: Morgan Bouldin, President; Rachel Thompson, Vice-President; Kristen Garrity, Treasurer; and Yvonne Dempsey, Secretary. Meetings are usually held the first Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the church hall, September through May. All ladies of the parish are encouraged to join. For more information on membership, contact any officer or member.
